Ben Horton founded Slave Skateboards in 2007. Slave is the sister company to both Mystery Skateboards, and Zero Skateboards and is distributed under the Black Box Distribution label. The Slave Skateboards team is made up of heshian-style skateboarders, such as Jon Allie, Pat Burke, and Jon Goeman. Slave's style of skateboard decks are a bit on the thicker side, which allows for more board control when jumping down any gap or set of stairs. Slave may not be the most popular brand out there, but their line of products prove why they have been successful.
