Johnny Schillereff founded Element Skateboards in 1992, and was originally named "Underworld Element Skateboards." Having a strong background in skateboarding, Johhny Schillereff pieced together the perfect components to create a successful skateboarding brand. Known to be one of the most successful skateboarding companies to date, Element has been home to the most talented skateboarders in the industry, such as Mark Appleyard, Chad Muska, and Nyjah Houston. Element skateboard decks are constructed with numerous technological components, such as the Highlight Skateboards which provides a lightweight durable deck, or the Helium Skateboards which provide the lightest skateboard deck in the industry.
