Dirty Ghetto Kids, or simply DGK, was founded by professional rider Stevie Williams. DGK Skateboards is under the umbrella of the Kayo Corporation, alongside Gold Wheels and Expedition One. The brand was built around the city lifestyle, and incorporates a bit of that style into all of their products. Williams also created the DGK brand to showcase the fact that skateboarding should be focused more on the fun side, whereas most other companies illustrate skateboarding as a competitive sport.
