Baker Skateboards was established in 2000 by one of the most talented skateboarders of all time, Andrew Reynolds, alongside artist and long-time friend Jay Strickland. Shortly after departing from his previous sponsor and popular company Birdhouse, Andrew Reynolds started his own team of diverse riders that consisted of Bryan Herman, Kevin 'Spanky' Long, and Dustin Dollin. Baker Skateboards was originally part of the Blitz Distribution family, but has since then relocated to the Baker Boys Distribution label.
