Professional skateboarder Julien Stranger founded Anti-Hero Skateboards in 1995. The company was established as a brand that would lean more towards the enjoyment of skateboard, opposed to the corporate style skateboarding company. Other popular skateboarding icons such as Jake Phelps, Jeff Grosso, and Jim Thiebaud have been a major contribution to the development of the company. Today, Anti-Hero Skateboards is part of the Deluxe Distribution family, and has popular riders Tony Trujillo, John Cardiel, and Skater of the Year Grant Taylor on it's roster.
