stability and increased heel impact dispersion, compression-molded EVA midsole

- RECCO Rescue System - utilizes advanced frequency doubling radar technology
to make the quick location of an avalanche victim possible. The reflector built
into Vans RECCO-equipped boots is a passive system, so there is no need for
batteries or maintenance, and nothing to turn on or off. The RECCO Rescue System
consists of two parts; the reflector in each boot, and the search equipment wich
is operated by the ski resort
